It's been a frustrating week for street shooting because of the constant rain, but I got a few hours in today, the highlight of which was seeing Bill Cunningham at work. Being the wuss that I am, I didn't speak to him, but I watched him—intermittently, since I was still trying to take pictures of my own—for about half an hour as he went from corner to corner at 57th and 5th. If you don't know who he is, here's the trailer for the documentary about him, which was obviously a big inspiration for this blog. Highly recommended. (I only wish I had worn something more interesting than my white t-shirt and jeans today!)
